Just touching base with some exciting news!!!
Well firstly I have now completed my Certificate IV in Kinesiology. So here in Perth Im enjoying three lovely long weeks of spring break.
Ill be taking some to time to enjoy outdoor walks along the coast, pottering in the garden and stepping back to spend time with family and friends. And last but not least, I'll also have more hours to fit in my gorgeous clients.. Life has been a little on the busy side, you could say.
So why Kinesiology you ask???
Well time and time again, I see and hear my clients describe complaints of pain.
And I have come to realise that this pain, which isnt usually a pain that comes from an injury or even an old injury. Can be or is often related to deep seated emotional pain, which manifests or presents as say " a sore neck " or "im just tight and stiff" those types of general pain.
Dont get me wrong I know lots of you are very fit and healthy and love nothing more than to smash out a session at the gym, but this is a different pain, and most of us carry it at different levels and at different times and different places. Our bodies can only function at high energy levels for a certain amount of time, and then we get sick. The bodies homeostatis rate is beyond what it can normally cope with, meaning hormones ( chemical messengers) such as excessive cortisol production when we are under stress, every ounce of our bodies is busting to keep us functional, and as soon as it gets to high or we let our guard down, MELTDOWN begins.
This also happens we are emotionally feeling fatigued or have inner turmoil, it feels like we are carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders, now in turn, our postural alignment is compensated, our shoulders become slouched, and our head hangs down. We feel vulnerable, weak, and exausted and emotional. How can you possibly put a smile on your face in this situation.
Its very hard to feel good about yourself, when your in this type of pain.
So what can Kinesiolgy can do?
Using a muscle monitoring response, I can help identify the muscles that are out of balance, the muscles which are tired and fatigued and arent responding to the "on & off" switch. So by simply correcting these muscles using accupressure or vibrational techniques. And forms emotional stress defusion, this bring the muscle back in proper homeostatis function. And allow energy blocks in the accupoints to flow. I can help with those emotional wows which have been stopping or blocking you from feeling and living the best possible life you deserve.
And for those of you that are thinking accupressure, its the traditional chinese method of healing, which has been used for thousand of years, now those guys are certainly onto something when it comes to health and long livity. :)
And that is why I love what im learning and practicing, because the changes that I have personally seen in myself have been progressive, when I look back on this last year I can YES see some faults, but there has been a huge improvement to my health, my mental health, my fitness, and most importantly, my sense of self.
